During the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, 13 civilian sailors have been killed in Russian strikes.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

“Several dozen civilian vessels were damaged. I can announce the losses, these are 13 dead sailors and several dozen wounded,” Pletenchuk said.

According to the spokesman, the Russians use the Black Sea for flights and missile launches. In addition, they use the temporarily occupied Crimea for shelling, as well as the eastern coast of the Russian Federation for launching “Shaheeds” and strike port infrastructure, as a result of which civilian sailors are killed.
