Since the beginning of this week, Russian invaders have fired more than 50 times on populated areas of the Donetsk region. As a result of enemy shelling, 11 civilians were killed.
This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko: “The emergency services, the police are all on the ground to quickly eliminate the consequences of shelling,” Klymenko said.
He also reminded that the evacuation of the civilian population from Donetsk region is ongoing.
“Risking their own lives, the evacuation teams of the “White Angel” police and the “Phoenix” emergency department daily evacuate civilians under fire,” the minister said.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also said that today, August 21, in Selidivska hromada, the Russians hit an evacuation crew with a drone, which included two rescuers, a policeman and three evacuated citizens, including a woman with disabilities. There were no casualties.
