Situation update as of 6 a.m., June 23, 2023
Last night, russian terrorists launched yet another massive missile and air strike against Ukraine, using Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones. Information on the aftermath of this attack is currently being updated.
During the day of June 22, the adversary launched 1x missile and 1x air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 3x Kh-47 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles, 3x Kh-22 cruise missiles, and 4x Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian air defense forces and means intercepted 3x kamikaze drones.
In addition, the enemy launched 49x air strikes and around 50x MLRS attacks.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.
The aggressor focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mar’inka axes, with more than 30x combat engagements taking place during the day of June 22.
Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.
Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Ohirtseve and Pletenivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Novovasylivka, Stepne, Vorozhba, Kindrativka, Andriivka, Pysarivka, Nova Sich, Slavhorod (Sumy oblast), Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan’, Pletenivka, Tykhe, Varvarivka, Budarky, Chuhunivka, Ambarne (Kharkiv oblast).
Kup’yans’k axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives towards Syn’kivka. The invaders launched an air strike near Kyslivka. Odradne, Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlyns’k, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.
Lyman axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives towards Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Nevs’ke (Luhansk oblast), Ivanivka, Tors’ke, Bilohorivka, Dibrova, and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). Nevs’ke, Dibrova, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Tors’ke, Serebryanka, Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.
Bakhmut axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bohdanivka, Bila Hora, and Pivnichne (Donetsk oblast). Rai-Oleksandrivka, Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Pivdenne, and New York (Donetsk oblast) suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
Avdiivka axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Sjeverne and Avdiivka, launched air strikes near Avdiivka and Nevel’s’ke. The invaders fired artillery at the settlements of Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomais’ke, and Nevel’s’ke (Donetsk oblast).
Mar’inka axis: the enemy conducted offensive operations towards Mar’inka and Pobjeda (Donetsk oblast). None of them were successful. The invaders launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. At the same time, the settlements of Maksymil’yanivka, Mar’inka, Heorhiivka, and Pobjeda (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with enemy artillery.
Shakhtars’ke axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne. The occupiers shelled the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, and Blahodatne (Donetsk oblast).
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary stays on the defensive, focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. The enemy attempted to regain the lost positions near Makarivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Storozheve, Makarivka (Donetsk oblast), and Levadne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers fired artillery at various settlements, including Novoocheretuvate, Makarivka, Storozheve, Zelene Pole, Temyrivka (Donetsk oblast), Levadne, Chervone, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Stepove, P’yatykhatky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Ivanivka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Kherson, and Dniprovs’ke (Kherson oblast).
During the day of June 22, Ukrainian Air Force launched 7x air strikes on the concentrations of enemy troops and 4x air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems.
During the day of June 22, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 1x command post, 4x concentrations of troops and military equipment, 2x ammunition depots, 1x fuel and lubricants depot, 23x artillery units at their firing positions, 2x electronic warfare assets, and 2x communication centers of the adversary.
