Situation update as of 6 a.m., June 4, 2023

Last night, russian occupiers launched yet another missile attack on Ukraine. Information on the aftermath of this terrorist attack is currently being updated.

During the day of June 3, the adversary launched 2x missile strikes as it targeted Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, in particular, using Iskander SRBM systems. One Iskander-K missile hit a suburb of Dnipro, damaging a two-storey residential building. More than 20x civilians, including children, sustained moderate to severe injuries. In addition, the enemy launched 30x air strikes and 56x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. During the day of June 3, there were 23x combat engagements.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of Hatyshche (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Hrem’yach, Hai, Dmytrivka (Chernihiv oblast), Atyns’ke, Bezsalivka, Oleksandrivka, Yunakivka, Mohrytsya, Stepok, Velyka Pysarivka (Sumy oblast), Ivashky, Udy, Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan’, Hoptivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Pyl’na, Zelene, Vesele, Starytsya, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchans’k, Vil’cha, Bochkove, Budarky, and Chuhunivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kup’yans’k axis: during the day of June 3, the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives near Novoselivs’ke (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinity of Serhiivka (Donetsk oblast). Masyutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivs’ke (Luhansk oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.

Lyman axis: during the day of June 3, the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast) and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast) and Sivers’k (Donetsk oblast). The vicinities of settlements of Makiivka, Nevs’ke, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, Tors’ke, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the adversary conducted offensive operations towards Ivanivske and Bila Hora, to no success. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Kurdyumivka and Bila Hora (Donetsk oblast). The vicinities of settlements of Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Slovyansk, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, New York, and Shevchenko (Donetsk oblast) suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

Avdiivka axis: the adversary did not conduct any offensive operations.

Russian forces launched air strikes in the vicinity of Avdiivka. The invaders fired artillery at the settlements of Avdiivka, Pervomais’ke, Nevel’s’ke, and Karlivka (Donetsk oblast).

Mar’inka axis: during the day of June 3, the adversary conducted offensive operations near the city of Mar’inka, but Ukrainian defenders repelled all 11x enemy attacks. The adversary suffered major losses in manpower and equipment. At the same time, the enemy continues to destroy our cities and villages, launched an air strike on Mar’inka, fired artillery at the settlements of Maksymil’yanivka, Mar’inka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Antonivka, Katerynivka, and Yantarne (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtars’ke axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Vuhledar and Prechystivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders shelled the settlements near the line of active combat, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Novoukrainka (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary stays on the defensive. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Poltavka and Hulyaipole (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers fired artillery at the settlements of Vremivka, Zelene Pole (Donetsk oblast), Burlats’ke, Malynivka, Bilohir’ya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Kam’yans’ke, Luk’yanivs’ke, Komyshuvakha (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Zolota Balka, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Dachi, Zymivnyk, Bilozerka, Dniprovs’ke, Kizomys (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.

On June 2, about 40x servicemen of the russian occupation forces deserted in Svatove (Luhansk oblast), and abandoned their combat positions without leave. This caused 2x russian helicopters and a unit of the occupiers’ national guard (Rosgvardia) to be deployed in search for the deserters.

During the day of June 3, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 11x air strikes on the concentrations of troops, as well as 6x air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy.

The Ukrainian defenders intercepted 6x reconnaissance UAVs and 2x Lancet combat UAVs of the enemy.

During the day of June 3, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops destroyed 1x command post, 1x anti-aircraft missile system, 6x artillery units at their firing positions, and 3x ammunition depots of the adversary.
