On April 16, the Russian occupying army struck the Zaporizhzhia region with artillery, rocket launchers, and drones. 8 towns and villages of the region were under heavy enemy fire.

Just last day, the Russians struck 214 strikes in the region. As a result of the Russian attacks, the houses of civilians in the Pologiv district were damaged. According to the police, six people’s houses were destroyed there. Also, farm buildings and garages were damaged by the blast wave.
Employees of the police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 “Violation of laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
