At least six people have been killed in Russian attacks in the towns of Chasiv Yar and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
In Chasiv Yar, where active fighting is ongoing but people still remain, five people aged between 32 and 66 were killed in Russian shelling. Their bodies were found on February 3, but it is not known when they died.
A 62-year-old man was killed in Pokrovsk on February 2. His body was also found on February 3.
In addition, one person was injured in shelling in the village of Rubtsy, Lymansky community.
Vadym Filashkin called on residents of Donetsk region to evacuate from dangerous areas, as Russian troops continue to shell peaceful towns and villages.
