
On February 21, six people were killed in Sumy region due to Russian shelling of civilian cars, including two children. Six more were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov: “Unfortunately, the region lost people again in the past day. As a result of targeted Russian strikes on civilian cars, six civilians died,” Grigorov said. According to his information, six more people were injured.
“Among the wounded are residents of Shostka, Znob-Novgorod, Boromlyan, Trostyanets, Sumy and Velykopysariv communities,” Grigorov added.
He noted that four wounded people currently remain in hospitals. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance.
It is noted that over the day of February 21, 55 attacks on 26 settlements in 14 communities of the region were recorded in Sumy region. Damaged residential buildings, transport and infrastructure.
