Strike on a high-rise building in Sumy

The building was hit by a “Shahed” missile on January 30.

The death toll from the Russian strike by a “Shahed” missile on a high-rise building in Sumy has increased to seven people.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“Rescuers unblocked the body of another person,” they said.

As of 17:20 on January 30, 13 people were injured, including a child.

Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.

Earlier, it became known who exactly died from the strike on Sumy. These are a 74-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife, a 65-year-old man with his 64-year-old wife, as well as another elderly couple.

We should add that the Russians struck a ten-story building in Sumy with a “Shahed” missile on January 30. As a result of the drone hitting the ten-story building, apartments were destroyed. The number of victims has increased to nine.

“The dismantling of damaged elements of the building and the dismantling of large-sized concrete slabs is ongoing. Equipment for high-altitude work is in operation,” the State Emergency Service said.

On the fifth floor of the damaged building, special equipment is being used to cut hard-to-reach metal elements.
