Strike on buses in Kramatorsk: administration reports on the condition of the injured

On the morning of October 8, Russian forces struck two scheduled buses in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.

According to Ihor Yeskov, Head of the Information Policy Department at the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, a total of 20 people were injured in the attack. Nineteen people were hospitalized. The victims sustained burns of varying severity, penetrating shrapnel wounds, and fractures.

At the time of the strike, two municipal buses were transporting passengers. The strike hit near the city center. Following the attack, public transport operations in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk were suspended due to the deteriorating security situation.

According to the latest data, there are 33 fatalities. Information from the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the police indicates that Russian forces may have used a UMPB D-30 SN aerial munition.
