Strike on Mykolaiv in the morning: two gas stations damaged after Russian attack

On the morning of July 20, Russian troops carried out another attack with drones on the Mykolaiv region. The regional center was hit, where two gas station buildings and a multi-story residential building were damaged as a result of hits and falling debris. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, the Russian army attacked the region with Shahed and Gerbera type strike drones. In Mykolaiv, two gas station buildings were damaged, and windows in a multi-story residential building were also broken.

Mykolaiv region remains one of the regions regularly hit by Russian drones. Just a few days ago, the occupiers attacked the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv, killing two Ukrainian sailors and damaging three civilian vessels flying foreign flags.

Recently, Russian troops have been increasingly attacking gas stations and other civilian infrastructure in frontline regions. Against this background, a number of fuel market operators have already changed their operating rules. In particular, the WOG network has introduced a special regime at gas stations in several frontline regions: some gas stations do not operate at night, and during air raids, fuel supply is temporarily suspended. Such measures should minimize the risks for employees and customers in the event of repeated attacks.
