Strike on Zaporizhzhia: Russians cynically reported where they were aiming

Russian propagandists reported that they hit a substation at a plant in Zaporizhzhia.

“Russian troops destroyed the main substation of the Motor Sich plant in Zaporizhzhia with a precise strike. This is what “z-military correspondents” writes about in Telegram, the Center for Strategic Communication and Information Security notes.

In fact, this is a cynical throw-in. Russians traditionally write about “precise strikes” on the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities, but at the same time lie and keep quiet about the facts of hitting residential buildings. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, one high-rise building in the city was destroyed, thirty more were damaged.

In addition, there are damaged private homes and non-residential premises in the Shevchenkivskyi and Oleksandrivskyi districts: “The number of people injured as a result of the Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia has increased to 51. People continue to seek medical help. There are currently 22 people in hospitals in the regional center. Others are being treated on an outpatient basis. A two-month-old baby is also in the hospital. A Russian missile attack took the life of a 47-year-old man.” Russia’s terrorist strike on Zaporizhzhia left more than 20,000 residents without electricity, and another 17,000 without heat.
