Strikes on Kherson do not stop, there are hits on the central market

Russian troops once again attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Kherson and Berislav districts with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems and UAVs

On December 25, Russian troops shelled the civilian infrastructure of the Kherson and Berislav districts with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems and UAVs of various types. In particular, at noon on Christmas Day they struck the central market of Kherson. As a result, a 47-year-old market worker who was at work at the time died.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration. The consequences were also revealed by the police.

“In the middle of the day, the Russians cynically struck the market, where people were preparing for the holiday. As a result of numerous “arrivals”, retail outlets were destroyed,” said Oleksandr Prokudin.

The Russians also shelled the center of Kherson with artillery, hitting dozens of people on the street. An 82-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man suffered blast and head injuries, contusions, and shrapnel wounds to their limbs. Another 27-year-old policeman suffered a contusion. This area was also shelled with multiple rocket launchers.

A man who was injured in the Russian strikes on the center of Kherson today also went to the hospital. A 50-year-old Kherson resident was diagnosed with a blast injury and contusion.

The Russians also shelled the Korabel neighborhood, wounding a 49-year-old woman. She was evacuated and hospitalized, diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury and a gunshot wound to the thigh. An apartment building was damaged.

A car was damaged in the Shumensky neighborhood as a result of an FPV drone strike. In the Dnipro district, an administrative building was damaged by artillery fire.

Not only Kherson was under fire, but also Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Sofiivka, Sadovo, Dniprovske, Molodizhne, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Yantarne, Veletenske, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Dudchany, Sahaidachne, Zolota Balka, Kozatske, Vesele. The police recorded damage to two apartment buildings and three private houses, critical infrastructure facilities, special equipment, and an administrative building.

Two private houses were damaged in the village of Dudchany as a result of FPV drone attacks. The occupation forces shelled the village of Bilozerka with artillery, damaging an apartment building and a private house there.
