In the Pokrovskyі direction in the Donetsk region, the Russian military shot dead two captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Law enforcement officers are checking information regarding the shooting of three more wounded soldiers.

This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, on November 10, during the assault on the fortifications of the Armed Forces near the village of Novodmytrivka in the Pokrovskyі district, the Russian military captured two Ukrainian soldiers. After that, they forced the captives to undress and led them through a forest plantation under the muzzles of machine guns, where they were shot.

The Prosecutor General’s Office stressed that such actions qualify as a grave international crime and a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions.
