Sumy is liquidating the consequences of night shelling: almost 200 windows damaged

On January 13, at about 23:05, Russian troops struck Sumy, hitting the area of ​​Topolyanska Street, 18/1. As a result of the shelling, a number of buildings, a heating main and cars were damaged.

According to Stanislav Polyakov, the head of the emergency situation liquidation work, the office premises of a private construction company were most damaged. Surrounding buildings also suffered significant damage, in particular, more than 182 windows in residential and non-residential buildings were damaged.

As a result of the shelling, a heating main was damaged, which led to a temporary shutdown of heat supply for 71 subscribers.

Significant forces and resources have been involved in liquidating the consequences of the shelling. Municipal services workers, rescuers and other services are working to restore the damaged infrastructure and provide assistance to the victims.

According to the city council, there are no victims among the population.
