Sumy region under shelling: five people injured, including a child

On December 24, Sumy region is under shelling by Russian troops. Currently, five people are known to have been injured, including a child.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov.

“And even on the day before Christmas in Sumy region, the Russians do not stop shelling, but continue to cynically attack peaceful residents of the region. As of this hour, unfortunately, we have five victims,” ​​he said.

According to Grigorov, the Russians attacked civilian cars in the Shostka, Sumy and Konotop districts, and launched a missile strike on the Okhtyr region. He added that the liquidation of the consequences of the attacks is currently underway.

“Among the injured is a minor girl. She was in a car in the Pishchansky district when a Russian drone hit the vehicle,” the head of the regional military administration noted.

He reported that two people are being treated as outpatients, the rest are hospitalized. Grigorov noted that all victims are receiving the necessary medical care.
