“At night and in the morning, the enemy attacked Sumy,” the regional military administration noted.
“At night, the Russians launched a series of strikes on Sumy,” the State Emergency Service reported.
“At around 1:30 a.m., a UAV hit an industrial enterprise building, and vehicles were also damaged there. At approximately 4:30 a.m., a Russian airstrike in another part of Sumy damaged at least 7 private houses and one two-story house, as well as cars,” the regional military administration said.
As specified by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian drones initially targeted a non-residential building, causing partial destruction of the roof and subsequent fire. The fire has been extinguished. Also, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian aircraft struck a residential area of the regional center.
“Rescuers eliminated the consequences of the Russian strike,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported, noting that first aid was provided to people and the elimination of fire sources.
“Preliminarily, in both cases there were no casualties,” the regional military administration indicated.
