Sumyteploenergo employee killed in Russian shelling of Sumy

Serhiy Volokhov, an employee of Sumyteploenergo, lost his life during a Russian multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) attack on Sumy on October 8.

This latest cynical Russian attack resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to four others.

Serhiy Volokhov joined the company in May of this year, taking on the role of boiler operator. In that short time, his colleagues came to know him as an exceptionally conscientious, sincere, and responsible person who contributed daily to the stability of the city’s critical energy system.
