“Take no prisoners.” The Russians shot three Ukrainian defenders in New York

The Russian military, by order of the command, executed three Ukrainian prisoners of war in New York, Donetsk region. The 12th special purpose brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” published the relevant footage and interrogation of the captured soldier of the Russian army.

According to the brigade, the killed defenders belonged to a neighboring unit.

A video from a drone has been published: it shows how unarmed Ukrainian soldiers come out of the cellar and surrender, after which they are shot at close range by the Russians.

Later, Azov fighters, together with the 49th separate assault battalion, captured one of the group of Russians who shot Ukrainian soldiers – the brigade posted an interview with the captured Russian who fought as part of the “Storm” detachment.

“After the senior contacted the command, he was told over the radio that “never mess with prisoners, do not take anyone captive.” And they gave the command to shoot, which the group did,” he said.

The head of the specialized department of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Belousov, reported that about 80% of the executions of Ukrainian servicemen by Russians took place in 2024. Currently, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has information on the death of 93 Ukrainian soldiers who were executed on the battlefield.

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has previously established the data of 16 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who were shot by the Russian invaders near Pokrovsk in early October, but this data is still being checked out of respect for the close defenders.

The Russian military, by order of the command, executed four prisoners of war soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Aggregate Plant in Vovchansk in the summer of 2024 – the possible suspect is currently in Ukrainian captivity, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine is investigating 28 executions of Ukrainian prisoners by Russian troops since the beginning of the Great War, in which a total of 62 Ukrainian servicemen died.

There was also information that Russian troops shot three Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Toretsk area. Law enforcement agencies have started an investigation.
