The first explosions were heard in Ternopil at around 1:10 p.m. This happened against the backdrop of a massive attack by the “Shaheeds” on Ukraine. Local monitoring channels reported several dozen drones that had flown into the city.

“Urgently take cover! Do not use transport,” chairman Serhiy Nadal urged city residents.

According to the head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Taras Pastukh, the Ternopil region and Ternopil are in a zone of increased danger.

After the explosions, the city was covered in smoke.
