In Lviv, three Shaheds hit a critically important object: details

At about 5 o’clock in the morning on June 20, Lviv was attacked by enemy drones of the “Shaheed” type, which aimed at a critically important object.

This was reported in the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

“Three hits. Damaged ceiling between floors, broken windows. There are no victims or injured. There was a fire.

Thanks for the work of our air defense defenders. If it weren’t for them, the scale of the problem would be much greater. I thank the specialists of the State Emergency Service who worked on eliminating the fire”- said the chairman of Lviv and the head of the regional military administration.

The air alert in the Lviv region lasted from 04:05 to 06:01, during the alert Lviv residents heard several loud explosions. The head of the Lviv regional military administration reported that there was a threat of enemy attack drones being used in the region.

Due to the morning shelling in Lviv, three trams changed their routes.

Kherson region

The Russian army fired at rescue workers in Kherson who were clearing mud.

This was announced by the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.

As a result of the shelling, 1 employee of the State Emergency Service was killed, and 8 more employees were injured.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on June 20, 2023, around 1:30 p.m., while performing tasks to eliminate the consequences of flooding in one of the microdistricts of the city of Kherson, a group of employees of the State Emergency Service came under Russian fire.

“One of the employees died on the spot, eight more were injured. The data is being verified. Priority measures are being taken to record the crime committed by the army of the aggressor country,” the regional prosecutor’s office said.

Zaporizhzhia region

In the afternoon of June 20, Russians attacked the Zaporizhzhia region: a house and a gas pipe were damaged

On June 20, around 12:20 p.m., the Russian army launched a rocket attack on the urban-type village of Komyshuvakha. There were no victims or injured as a result of the attack by the russians.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service in the Zaporizhzhia region.

As a result of the attack, the house of local residents was damaged. A low-pressure gas pipe was damaged without combustion. Rescuers cooled the pipe with water and are on duty at the site to prevent ignition.

The Komyshuva settlement council asked the residents of three streets to urgently cut off the gas supply.

“As a result of the shelling carried out by the Russian military, the gas supply network was damaged, for repairs it is necessary to urgently disconnect the consumers of the specified streets!”, the message reads.
