The body of a civilian who died in a drone strike was found in Sumy region

The body of a deceased civilian was found in Sumy region, regional head Oleg Grigorov reported on May 19.

According to the regional authorities, a 38-year-old man died as a result of a targeted strike by a Russian drone on the road between the Khotyn and Sumy communities.

“He is a resident of the Khotyn community. Due to constant Russian shelling, he and his family had previously evacuated to Sumy. Currently, all the circumstances and details of the tragedy are being clarified,” Grigorov said.

The head of the region noted that Russian troops continue to purposefully attack civilians and leave no safe opportunity to move along the border of the Sumy region.
