The correspondent of the Italian publication La Repubblica Corrado Dzunino was injured on April 26 at the entrance to Kherson as a result of the shelling of the car in which he was traveling with his assistant.
This is reported by La Repubblica: “Our correspondent Corrado Dzunino was injured today at the entrance to Kherson as a result of the shelling of the car in which he was driving with his assistant.”
Corrado was treated and hospitalized at the Kherson City Hospital with a shoulder injury. Currently, nothing is known about the fate of his assistant.
The head of the Italian Foreign Ministry, Antonio Tajani, reported that the correspondent was injured during a drone attack: “Journalist Corrado Zunino from La Repubblica was wounded in the shoulder during a drone attack in Kherson. He is doing well and is under the supervision of our embassy in Kyiv. I am in contact with Minister Kuleba, who assured full support from the Ukrainian authorities.”
