The environmental inspection reported on the consequences of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the night of March 28, the troops of the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia “Shahed-131/136”. As a result of the Russian shelling, people’s houses were mutilated, and two local residents were injured. Specialists of the State Environmental Inspection of the Southern District examined two districts of the regional center that were affected by the drone attack.

As a result of the Russian attack, the private sector suffered. The total area of land littered with destruction waste amounted to more than 240 square meters. Specialists took soil samples for further laboratory analysis.

“All materials will be handed over to law enforcement agencies and the Operational Headquarters of the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine,” the agency says.
