The family of the deceased 11-year-old boy spoke about the first minutes of the Russian strike on Kyiv

As a result of the Russian strike in Kyiv, 11-year-old Maksym died. His family said that during the attack they did not have time to react because they did not hear the alarm.

The boy’s father showed the room where his son was during the strike. Maksym is one of the four people killed that night in Kyiv. In total, 62 people were injured in the capital.

“The missile flew in, killed the son in that room. The other son, who was sleeping by the window, is alive,” said Maxim’s father.

“We didn’t even hear the alarm when it happened. We didn’t have time to react,” the man added.

Maxim was a 5th grader. His family said that on Saturday everyone gathered together to celebrate Easter.

“Everyone met here, the whole family,” said the deceased’s grandfather.

The Children’s Engineering Academy in Kyiv reported that Maxim studied at this institution and expressed condolences to his family.

“This is an indescribable pain that cannot be comprehended by the mind. Another life that was supposed to last for decades was cut short by another act of Russian terror. The whole world was taken away from the parents,” the post says.
