Employees of the FSB of Russia kidnapped a resident of the temporarily occupied village of Novooleksiiivka in the Kherson region. The Russians claim that the man allegedly participated in the activities of the defunct “Crimean Tatar Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan”, which was recognized as an “extremist organization” in the Russian Federation.
This is reported by the Center for Journalistic Investigations.
At the same time, the Russians do not disclose the name and surname of the illegally detained Ukrainian citizen. But as I inform Henichesk ua, we are talking about Kurtamet Khalil Apasovich, born in 1966.
Before the occupation, the man had a service station in Novooleksiivka, and also headed the local religious community “Islam”.
The Russians accuse Khalil Kurtamet of participating in an “illegal armed formation”, the blockade of Crimea, and threaten him with imprisonment for up to 15 years.
