The forces of the Russian Federation bombed the center of the village of Velika Pisarivka in the Sumy region, the head of the Velika Pisarivka community Lyudmila Biryukova reported.

“On March 17, the Russians destroyed the center of the village of Velyka Pysarivka. I hope that each of us will come to the conclusion that life is the most valuable and come to the evacuation,” said Biryukova.

The head of the community also added that services and consultations regarding evacuation will be provided by specialists of the village council in telephone and online mode.

Earlier, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that three people were killed and 13 were wounded, including five children, as a result of shelling of the Velikopysarov community over the course of five days (from March 11 to 15).

Russian troops are actually shelling settlements in the Sumy region with various types of weapons every day.

In the Sumy region, law enforcement officers record the consequences of regular Russian shelling. During the day, the Russians made 463 strikes on the region. One person died, another was injured, the National Police reported.

15 private households, three high-rise and five private residential buildings, an administrative building, a hospital, a library, and a kindergarten were damaged.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles. In January, Russia intensified its attacks, as a result of which dozens of people were killed and hundreds more were injured.

Despite the evidence and testimony, Moscow has denied shelling civilians in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
