Oleksandr Klymenko, who was the head of the association of co-owners of an apartment building, was among the five killed as a result of a rocket attack on an apartment building in the center of Zaporizhzhia on October 18. He died together with his wife Lilia Klymenko, who worked as a doctor.

According to her, Oleksandr Yuriyovych was fond of fishing. The deceased couple is survived by two sons.
