Russia continues its crimes and shelling, it became known how many people died during the year of the full-scale invasion in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.
During the year of the war, Mariupol suffered an inevitable loss of population due to shelling by the Russian Federation.
Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the chairman of Mariupol, summed up the losses in the city since the war: “The main thing that Mariupol lost in a year is more than 25,000 residents. This is probably the largest figure there is. I have lost exactly 1,300 children who were stolen after the invasion of the Russian Federation. These are the most painful losses. Compared to that, everything else just doesn’t matter.”
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 1,384 people have died in Donetsk region, and 3,085 people have been injured.
The once picturesque Bakhmut is unrecognizable today. The head of the city military administration of Bakhmut, Oleksiy Reva, summed up the results of the year of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, namely what the war did to his city and local residents.
Reva wrote that during the year of the war, Russia killed 193 residents of the community.
“…Separated hundreds of families, drove out about 75 thousand Bakhmutians from their homes, destroyed thousands of houses. Our once picturesque Bakhmut is unrecognizable today. The Russians cannot capture the city, so they level it with the ground,” Reva said.
“Our Bakhmut is a symbol of power, courage and struggle. This is a fortress against which enemies break their teeth,” he added.
As of February 14, less than five thousand residents remained in Bakhmut.
At night, the Russians struck Slovyansk and Sviatohirsk, there is damage, but no one was injured.

As noted, there were no victims in the Donetsk direction. During the night, intense shelling continued in the Marinka territorial community: Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, and Maksimilianivka, as well as Kurakhovoy and Kurakhivka.
“On the Horlivskyi direction, 1 person died and 1 person was injured in Ivanivskyi Bakhmutska T; there is also an injured person in Bakhmut. In the Kostyantynivska territorial community, a person was injured in Diliivka, 4 houses were damaged in Mykolaivka. A house was damaged in Chasovoy Yar. In the Soledarska territorial community, 2 houses were damaged in Fedorivtsi, 2 houses and 2 administrative buildings in Vasyukivtsi,” the message reads.
In the Lysychansk direction, Zvanivka and Siversk territorial communities were shelled – 1 person was injured in Siversk.
Kyrylenko also reminds that during the day the Russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk region and injured 7 more.
The occupiers allocated almost 1.5 billion rubles for the so-called medical examinations of Ukrainian children in the occupied Luhansk region. They plan to “examine” at least 220,000 children.

For this purpose, the occupiers plan to send 35 medical teams to the populated areas of the occupied Luhansk region.
“After recommendations for further treatment, the children are sent to “long-term recovery”, after which their parents are looking for them,” the Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported.
