On January 25, the Karlovka filter station suffered significant destruction due to shelling from the Russian side. This was reported by the deputy chief of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Oleksiy Stebel, the official channel of the Pokrovsk city military administration reports. He noted that now the Pokrovsk territorial community receives water from several sources. Rodynske receives water from a filter unit from the Krasnolymanska mine, and the rest of the community receives water from the utility company “Donbass Water Company”.
Reconstruction work is underway, but due to constant shelling, this process is significantly complicated. The filter station for cleaning mine water is working normally, but it has a limited resource, – reported Oleksiy Stebel.
Residents of the city of Rodynske began to complain about the reduced volume and pressure of water supply.
“According to the memorandum, the water received from the mine is not supplied anywhere else, except for the city of Rodynske. However, unfortunately, we are completely dependent on the amount of water supplied to us by the mine. Currently, this amount is underestimated,” said the deputy.
