The largest attack by the number of victims: in Kyiv, the bodies of 17 dead people were found under the rubble

On December 30, around noon, rescuers discovered the bodies of three more people who died as a result of the attack by the Russian Armed Forces that took place the day before. Therefore, the number of victims increased to 17.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration: “Clarification of the consequences of a missile attack on the capital. Rescuers found another body under the rubble. The number of dead is already 16,” the message says.

The search and rescue operation is still ongoing. January 1 will be declared a day of mourning in the city.

The chairman of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko noted that the attack on Kyiv on December 29 was the largest in terms of the number of victims among peaceful residents of the capital.

On the night and morning of December 29, Russia launched about 110 missiles and attack drones over Ukraine. During the enemy attack in the sky over Ukraine, 114 out of 158 air targets were shot down.
