The Russians hit Odesa region with Onyx, X-59 and X-22 missiles, simultaneously launching Shahed drones, the military said
During the night of July 19, Russian troops carried out the largest attack on the Odesa region, hitting the region with missiles and attack drones. This is reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General: “According to preliminary information, 10 civilians were injured, including a nine-year-old boy. Information about other victims is being clarified.”
Grain and oil terminals were damaged as a result of missile strikes on port infrastructure facilities.
“Also, due to the attack of the Russian Federation, an industrial facility, warehouses and trade pavilions of the industrial market, shopping centers, multi-story buildings of residential complexes, cars, administrative buildings were damaged and destroyed. One of the Odesa cemeteries was damaged,” the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said. In addition, in the Odesa and Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky districts of the region, as a result of shelling by Russians, private houses, farm buildings and cars were damaged, added the prosecutor’s office. On the night of July 19, the Russians attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones and missiles.
Defense forces destroyed 23 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs out of 32 launched by the Russian invaders, 13 out of 16 Kalibr missiles and one Kh-59 guided air missile. During the attack, the Russians also used six Onyx cruise missiles from the Bastion coastal missile complex (Crimea), as well as eight Kh-22 cruise missiles.

It hit grain and oil terminals, damaged tanks and loading equipment,” the Ukrainian military said.

In Odesa, as a result of the attack, civilian objects, tourist bases, a market and residential quarters were mutilated. As reported in the regional military administration, there are victims, but previously there were no victims.

Rockets hit the industrial goods market, where there were warehouses with tobacco and fireworks. The fire was extinguished by 17 firefighting vehicles, as it was large-scale – more than 2,000 square meters. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region showed the work of firefighters. The police were also working at the scene. In their photos, you can see the destruction suffered by the Slobid cemetery.
Houses were also damaged. Some high-rise buildings are without glass – this is also the result of the Russian attack.
Russian shelling of Odessa: a lot of grain burned in the port
As a result of the Russian shelling of Odessa on the night of June 19, 60 thousand tons of grain were destroyed in the port of Chernomorsk. This grain was intended for transportation. This was stated by the Minister of Agropolitics and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky. According to him, the grain destroyed by Russian troops was supposed to be loaded onto a grain carrier and sent 60 days ago, but remained at the terminal due to Russian sabotage within the “grain corridor”.
