The leaders conducted a raid on the facilities that keep life in the city going and identified their needs

The police department is destroyed, it does not function, but two police outfits are constantly on duty in the city. This is the “White Angel” group, which is engaged in humanitarian missions, and the investigative-operational group, which responds to calls and documents the war crimes of the Russian Federation.

“The police will be on duty in Avdiivka until the end and are ready for any challenge. We have analyzed the situation in the city and appeal to the residents: it is necessary to evacuate now, while it is still possible,” said the head of the National Police Department in the Donetsk region, Ruslan Osypenko.

About 16 people work in the hospital damaged by shelling – two doctors and medical staff.

There is enough first aid, but there is no way to provide help in critical situations. Food, domestic gas and other necessary things are brought by “white angels”. They deliver injured or sick civilians to the medical facility, the police say.
