The rescuers spoke about the consequences of shelling of populated areas of the Kharkiv region, which the enemy carried out on February 18.

As reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, an administrative building was destroyed in the city of Kupyansk. In the village of Dvorichna, the emergency medical care building was destroyed.

There was also a fire in the city of Kupyansk. It was caused by enemy artillery shelling. A garage and two cars burned on the territory of a private home. The area of ​​the fire was 60 square meters. m. Firefighters eliminated it in an hour and a half.

It will be recalled that during the day of February 18-19, units of the Russian occupation army carried out offensive actions in the area of ​​the villages of Masyutivka and Hryanikyvka of the Dvorichan community of the Kupyan district.

Russian troops shelled several settlements in the Kharkiv region yesterday. In particular, Kupyansk and Vovchansk were hit.

At least 10 border settlements were damaged by enemy shelling.

In Kupyansk, Russian shells damaged the administrative building, garages and cars, and fires broke out. In the village of Dvorichna, the ambulance building was damaged.

In the village of Kivsharivka, a 53-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were injured as a result of an attack by the occupiers, and they were hospitalized. The building of the educational institution was seriously damaged by shelling.

A Russian shell hit a private house in Vovchansk. A man died as a result of the impact.

In the Kharkiv region, one fire was recorded during the day from February 18 to 19, 2023, which was caused by the impact of enemy shells.

Around eight o’clock in the morning on February 18, Kupyansk rescuers went to put out a fire caused by the enemy after artillery shelling of the private residential sector of the city. A garage and 2 cars were burning on the territory of one of the private estates. The burning area was 60 square meters. At 9:30 a.m., the fire was extinguished by rescuers from the 44th state fire and rescue unit and their colleagues from Luhansk. There are no casualties.

On two occasions, the rescuers went to check the places where enemy shells hit:

• in the city of Kupyansk, an administrative building was damaged;
• in the village of Dvorichne, an ambulance building was fired upon.

There were no casualties from enemy shelling during the past day.

In total, during the day from February 18 to 19, 2023, the rescuers of the Kharkiv Garrison of the State Emergency Service made 22 operational departures, of which:

• 7 – to eliminate fires, 1 of which was caused by enemy shelling;
• 2 – to check the places of impact of enemy projectiles;
• 10 – to provide assistance to the population, the police and utility workers;
• 3 – other departures.

During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service removed and neutralized 89 units of explosive objects.

On Saturday, February 18, the Russian occupiers shelled 10 border settlements of the Kharkiv region.

Racists again terrorized the private sector of Kupyansk with shelling. Fires broke out as a result of the artillery strikes of the Rashists, reported the Regional Emergency Service.

“On the territory of one of the private estates, a garage and 2 cars were on fire. The burning area was 60 square meters. At 09:30, the fire was extinguished by rescuers of the 44th state fire and rescue unit and their colleagues from Luhansk. There are no casualties,” the rescuers said.

During the day, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service removed and neutralized 89 units of explosive objects.

Rescuers delivered 8 tons of drinking water to the residents of the city of Izyum.

On February 17, the Rashists shelled at least 15 settlements in the Kharkiv, Kupyan and Chuguyiv districts with barrel and rocket artillery, tanks and mortars. An air strike was carried out on Vovchansk.
