The military doctrine of the Russian Federation is to strike critical infrastructure

The military doctrine of the Russian Federation is to force the enemy to surrender by destroying critical infrastructure facilities, so Russia will continue to strike. This opinion was expressed by military analyst Dmytro Snegiryov.

“What we are talking about, the military doctrine of the Russian Federation, is the launch of missile strikes on critical civilian infrastructure facilities as a way to force the enemy to surrender. And what we have been observing since October is missile strikes, primarily on residential infrastructure and, accordingly, on critical infrastructure objects,” the analyst said.

Snegiryov also added that it is not worth spreading the information that the Russian Federation is running out of missiles, because it has the ability to produce cruise missiles.

“It is worth telling the truth, and the truth is that the Russian Federation, unfortunately, will continue to strike, first of all, on critical infrastructure and, accordingly, civilian objects. The recent events in the Dnipro clearly demonstrated that it is not necessary to say that the Russians did not understand the choice of the Kh-22 missile, the warhead of which is 950 kilograms, I will remind you, the “caliber” has 450 kilograms, this is proof that the Russians understood where they hit and the main thing is what they hit with, and the possible consequences of a hit, because it has a radius of deviation from the target of up to several hundred meters, it is not a high-precision weapon. Ukrainians should also talk about this, they need to understand and work out an algorithm of actions in the event of an air-raid alarm,” Snegiryov emphasized.

On January 14, an enemy Kh-22 missile hit a nine-story residential building in the city of Dnipro. The entire entrance was completely destroyed by the explosion. As of January 19, the number of dead was 46.

The Air Force stated that the Armed Forces have no weapons capable of shooting down this type of missile. Since the beginning of Russia’s military aggression, more than 210 missiles of this type have been launched on the territory of Ukraine. None of them were shot down by anti-aircraft defenses.
