It may be necessary to blow up the SBU building in Kherson, because the Russians mined every room. Vladyslav Nazarov, a representative of the “South” operational command, stated this. “Many such finds are stationary devices. Therefore, in some cases demining is impossible, and the only way out is to blow up the mined building,” he explained. Earlier, for the same reasons, sappers blew up the building of the National Police of the Kherson region.

They break down the doors in houses: the occupiers in the Kherson region, the occupiers terrorize families with schoolchildren

Russians continue to terrorize Ukrainians in the occupied territory of the Kherson region. The occupiers began to arrange “raids” on homes.

Thus, according to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, the occupiers broke into the homes of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied Myrna territorial community.

At the same time, Yanushevich specified that the occupiers broke closed gates to enter the yard. They also broke down the doors to the apartments. In this way, they checked whether children are studying online with the help of gadgets in Ukrainian schools. Because of this, it is impossible for them to resume classes.

  • According to Vitrenka, in these schools the Russians burned Ukrainian books and destroyed the furniture purchased for the New Ukrainian School. At the same time, the occupiers settled in the best premises, in particular in schools. Later they were mutilated.
  • Currently, there are 157 Ukrainian schools operating in the region. They work remotely. More than 65,000 students study under the Ukrainian program. The Ministry of Education hopes that thanks to the successes of the Ukrainian army, a significant number of schools will work according to Ukrainian standards – not only online, but also in a mixed format.
  • The official also told how the education process will be reorganized in the liberated territories of the Kherson region. The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) is considering several options.
  • If the school is unfit for use and it is impossible to resume education there, we will add new students who remain there to the already existing online schools, Vitrenko clarified.
  • The official also said that new leaders will be appointed in the de-occupied territories, who will deal with the reconstruction of schools. Only after that, the MES will be able to name the number of schools that will work in a mixed mode. There is no shortage of teaching staff.

The Russians fired on an “important military facility” in Belozerka – a bread distribution point

Five civilians were injured of varying degrees during the shelling of the village of Belozerka (Kherson region) by Russian invaders.

According to information provided by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the national police of Ukraine of the Kherson region, people were injured while standing in line for free bread.

It was distributed by volunteers in one of the humanitarian points. The invaders, apparently, considered it an important military object, which, in their opinion, was to be destroyed. In addition, it became known that the territory of the Kherson shipbuilding plant, located on the Island, also fell under enemy shelling the day before. During the shelling of the de-occupied Kherson, which the invaders carried out a few days after leaving the right bank of the Dnieper, one of the local residents was killed.

“Mother was buried in a trench” – residents of Myrolyubivka in Kherson region told about the horrors of occupation and war

Residents of Myrolyubivka in Beryslav district in Kherson region spoke about the horrors of the occupation. Unfortunately, the village with such a beautiful and peaceful name had to face the war up close. In the video published on the Myrolyubivka Facebook page, the journalist talks to a married couple who lost a loved one as a result of enemy shelling. And also cozy housing, work and income.

Volodymyr Kolesnyk said that there were people from Transbaikalia in their village. The headquarters was set up in the school.

At first, the equipment was placed on the outskirts of the village, and when the offensive on Kryvyi Rih was being prepared, it was already pushed everywhere, kept in the yards. They behaved arrogantly and arrogantly. At a time when people were starving and eating dirt, they demonstratively stuffed themselves with sausage. And the leftovers were thrown to the local dogs. When most of the residents left the village, the occupiers moved into their houses. In August, the Ukrainian military drove the invaders away from the village. It became easier, but heavy shelling began. During one of them, Volodymyr’s mother-in-law died. At first, she, as well as the husband’s mother, hid with the whole family in the cellar, but it was difficult for the elderly women to go down there, and later they decided to stay in the house…

After another flight, when Russian shells hit the yard, both women were wounded. Volodymyr’s mother survived, but his mother-in-law was badly cut by debris.

The woman was buried in an enemy trench…

The residents of the liberated village do not know how to live on. It takes a lot of money to rebuild a destroyed house. And of course, there are none. There is no work in Myrolyubivka, and you won’t go to the field for a long time, because everything is mined – they say.

“I starved and went crazy for a week “in the basement” – a teacher from Kherson about her captivity during the occupation

Olena Naumova is a teacher at Kindergarten No. 41 in Kherson. During the Russian occupation, the woman talked about life in the city on TikTok, where she is known as izvatel_iz_humorom (“Educator with humor”). The teacher did not hide her pro-Ukrainian position, and 6 months after the beginning of the Russian occupation, she was kidnapped. Later, the occupiers released the woman, and a video of her apologizing to the Russian army appeared on the Internet.

After that, Olena disappeared again and nothing was known about her fate until the deoccupation of the city. She told where the “Educator with a sense of humor” was and what really happened to her.

“She did not hide her patriotism”

We asked Elena why she decided to shoot a video for TikTok during the occupation of Kherson?

– Not only me, a lot of people did it, but smart people didn’t show themselves. But it so happened that… As it turned out, so it turned out.

According to the woman, she and like-minded people filmed patriotic videos every day, streamed 2-3 times a day, collected money, volunteered.

– Our Ukrainians collected half a million hryvnias, transferred to a card, I transferred to a card to those families who needed help in Kherson and the Kherson region, some of them brought money in cash, bought food. Our Ukrainians are incredible, completely, it would seem, strangers, but everyone helped, we became like one family.

“Interrogated for four days”

Olena Naumova says that the occupiers came to her home on Ukrainian Flag Day – August 23.

I was forced to write an apology to the Russian army – They searched, took them “to the basement”, asked many questions, interrogated them for 4 days. Then I just sat there for a week, starving and freezing, going crazy from all those sounds. Then they forced me to write down an apology to the Russian army, which I called to kill and the collaborators who supported the Russians here. They took you home, said: “We don’t need you here, we will deport you to your Ukraine.” But the so-called “deportation” of Elena dragged on until the de-occupation of Kharkiv region and when information about the discovery of mass graves near Izyum began to appear.

– The occupiers came and said that they will leave soon. I ask: “What number should I order?”. They answer: “We ourselves.” Yes, I think, by ourselves, in the nearest forest strip. I realized that I “need to run.”

Hiding before de-occupation

The woman says that in order to save her life, she had to stage another kidnapping.

People simply hid it on the condition that I would not have any contact with anyone.

– We pretended to take me away. I think let the FSB and GRU figure out who took whom, because they demanded money. Therefore, let them think that one of them did it. And so I left the house, it was open for 4 days, until relatives came and closed everything.

People simply hid me on the condition that I would not have any contact with anyone, right before the return of our armed forces. That’s how I was saved.

“Second Birthday”

The teacher told how she learned about the de-occupation of Kherson.

– The person who was hiding me went to the store, runs up and shouts: “Olena, ours is in town. ZSU, natives in the city.” I say: “It can’t be.” We started crying, hugging. We ran out into the street, stood at the intersection, waited for ours, saw them, started waving at them, took out the flags, then I said: “Let’s go to the center.”

Olena says that the emotions of the fact that the city is free from the occupiers still overwhelm her.

– The only greater happiness was the birth of my son, and then this day – 11.11.2022 – it will be my second birthday and the second birthday of our city.

The woman says that she will record videos for TikTok again as soon as the city has light and a stable connection.

– Everything will be as it was before, until victory, and then we will see. We will reach Sevastopol and everything will be fine.

  • Russia, despite abundant evidence, denies its attacks on civilians and war crimes committed by its military in Ukraine.

The retreat routes of the Russian occupiers are under fire control of the Ukrainian army, the Ministry of Defense noted. On the same day, the Ukrainian flag was raised in the city center.
