The Netherlands has allocated 3.5 million euros to support justice

In turn, the Minister of Justice and Security of the Netherlands, David van Wiel, stressed that his country consistently politically supports the creation of a special tribunal for the crime of aggression. “The center for restoring justice is strengthening Ukraine’s capabilities to investigate, prosecute and try international crimes committed as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine,” he said.

This task, David van Wiel noted, will be extremely important in the coming years, including extremely important international support. “And today the Dutch government has announced new financial support of 3.5 million euros for this purpose. “These funds will be used to attract legal experts to support Ukrainian prosecutors and the International Criminal Court, and to continue the activities of the Secretary of the Dialogue Group (between the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, the International Criminal Court and Eurojust to provide international support to the investigation of Russian crimes against Ukraine) for another two years,” he said.
