The number of dead and injured in Lozova has increased. Among the injured are two children

The number of dead and injured as a result of the Russian attack has increased in the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region.

On the night of August 5, Russian troops carried out the most massive shelling of Lozova since the beginning of the full-scale war – 34 strike drones attacked the city.

Initially, it was reported that one person died as a result of the attack, ten more were injured.

Now it is known that two people died. A 60-year-old man died on the spot. A 72-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital after the shelling also died in the morning.

13 people sought medical help, including two teenagers – a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, emphasized that only civilian infrastructure was affected: a railway station, a traction substation and a locomotive depot. There are no military facilities in the areas of the hits.

There was destruction of buildings, 6 fire centers appeared. Administrative, production, warehouse and other buildings, the roof of the station were burning.

Almost 80% of the city’s consumers were cut off from electricity due to the Russian attack. At this time, power supply has already been restored in the city, work is underway to restore electricity in other settlements of the community. First of all, energy workers have restored the city’s critical infrastructure, and are gradually connecting household consumers.
