
Ukrainian rescuers retrieved the body of another victim of Russian aggression from the rubble in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on Saturday, February 17. The Russians launched a missile attack on the private sector and killed two people.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
Consequences of the Russian attack on Kramatorsk and Sloviansk
“One more person died in Kramatorsk. Rescuers retrieved the body of a 23-year-old man from under the rubble of the house,” the head of the regional military administration said.
According to him, there is another person under the ruins.
Filashkin also clarified that 26 rescuers continue their work in Kramatorsk, another 24 — in Sloviansk. “Currently, it is known about two dead people in a house in Kramatorsk. In Sloviansk, a search operation is ongoing at the site of the attack on the school – a man is probably under the rubble,” added the head of the regional administration. On Saturday, February 17, the Russians shelled Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, located in Donetsk region. The deputy head of the Office of the President, Oleksiy Kuleba, spoke about the consequences of the strike.
