Four civilians were killed and 40 people, including three children, were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
As of 4:00 p.m., 40 people were injured and 4 killed as a result of a rocket attack by the Russian army on Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. Three children are among the injured. Previously, the Russians hit the Iskander-M missiles. This was reported in the prosecutor’s office of the region.
As of 4:00 p.m., as a result of a rocket attack on Pokrovsk, four civilians were killed, and another 40 people were injured of various degrees of severity. Among the injured are three children: two girls aged 11 and 12 and a 12-year-old boy, the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
The army of the Russian Federation carried out a missile attack on Pokrovsk on June 24, 2024 at 12:00. Half an hour later, the Russians struck the front-line town again. Hitting of means of destruction took place on the private sector and the object of civil infrastructure.
Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings on the fact of violating the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, the Russian attack on Pokrovsk was one of the largest Russian attacks on civilians in recent times.
