The number of injured due to falling debris in the Kyiv region has increased to six

The number of residents of the Kyiv region who suffered as a result of the attack by Russian troops on the afternoon of June 16 has increased to six. Among them is a child.

This was announced by the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko.

All the victims were injured by falling debris in the same settlement. One of the injured is a driver who was injured while transporting bread. Everyone is provided with the necessary medical care.

According to the calculations of the regional military administration, the Russian attack destroyed three private houses in the region, 13 houses need major repairs, another 15 houses and two farm buildings have minor damage. Kravchenko assures that all house owners will be provided with the necessary assistance.

According to the investigation, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out another missile attack on the Kyiv region. An 82-year-old woman was injured.

In one of the districts of the region, residential buildings and a shop were damaged, prosecutors, experts, police officers, Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and State Emergency Service are working on the spot.

Earlier, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region, Andrii Nebytov, reported that three people were injured in the Kyiv region as a result of enemy rocket fire on Friday. “Two children and a grandmother were injured, who was thrown away by the shock wave. More than 30 houses were damaged,” he said.

In addition, falling debris ignited forest and grass litter. The fire has already been contained.

What did the Russians attack?

At approximately 11:00 a.m., an air alert was announced in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, and explosions were heard. The command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the attack in the Kyiv region, six “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles, six “Kalibr” cruise missiles and two reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed.
