Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 19 cases of sexualized violence by the military of the Russian army have been officially recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region.
This is reported to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Thus, eleven cases of sexualized violence against women and eight such crimes against men were recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region. There are no officially recorded facts of such crimes against children.
According to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, as of May 15, a total of 292 cases of sexualized violence as a result of the armed conflict were recorded in Ukraine.
Russians committed most of these crimes in the Kherson, Donetsk, Kyiv, and Kharkiv regions.
