The number of victims of a Russian drone hitting a house in Odesa has increased to ten

The number of people killed in Odesa on the night of March 2 as a result of the hit of a Russian drone of the “Shakhed” type in a multi-story residential building increased to ten. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Sunday morning that the body of the ninth victim was recovered from the rubble.

Later, Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, wrote that next to the dead woman’s body, rescuers found the corpse of a child – probably under one year old.

Earlier, rescuers found the bodies of a 3-month-old child and her mother under the rubble. Oleg Kiper and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko informed about this.

Thus, three children are among the victims of the attack. Rescue operations continue, people may still remain under the rubble. On March 3, a day of mourning was declared in Odesa.

As a result of a drone strike on the night of March 2, one entrance of a nine-story residential building in Odesa was almost completely destroyed. 18 apartments in this building were destroyed and, according to preliminary data, another 7 were damaged, the city hall reported.
