The third victim of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of September 7 was found under the rubble by rescuers after hours of searching
On the morning of September 8, it became known that the number of victims of the night attack on Kyiv on September 7, unfortunately, has increased. Work to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling on the ruins of a high-rise building in Svyatoshynskyі did not stop all night. Rescuers retrieved the body of another victim from under the rubble, thus increasing the number of dead to three.
The sad news was reported by the capital’s State Emergency Service, the deceased was a man. Information about the third victim appeared the day before, but on September 7 it was not officially confirmed. It is now known that three people died in a nine-story building on Yakub Kolas Street in Svyatoshyn: in addition to the man found, there was a young woman with a baby who was only two months old – the explosion threw them into the yard from the sixth floor.
According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachekna, 12 residential buildings were damaged in the Svyatoshynskyі district. 64 apartments require repair, 17 dwellings were completely destroyed. In the Darnytskyі district, 31 apartments and school No. 127 were damaged.
