According to the Ukrainian military, the Russians continue to destroy energy infrastructure facilities in the south
The Russian occupiers in the south continue looting, intensifying the terror of the local population and destroying civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the Operational Command “South”.
“The occupiers continue their looting and destruction of civil infrastructure in settlements where the locals were evacuated. Testing the carrying capacity of the Kakhovskaya dam is carried out by transporting trucks with looted property – household appliances and construction materials, as well as the removal of artistic and historical values,” the summary says.
It is also reported that the Russians continue to destroy energy infrastructure facilities. In particular, not far from Beryslav, they blew up power lines and solar power plant equipment.
Creating unbearable conditions for the life of the local population, the occupiers are intensifying police terror, hunting down activists of the resistance forces, trying to interrupt people’s information provision in the conditions of dismantling mobile communication towers.
On the southern defense lines, the Ukrainian military hit the enemy’s anti-aircraft defense 11 times from the sky. As a result of the active actions of the Ukrainian military, Russia lost: 55 soldiers; 4 tanks; anti-aircraft missile complex “Tor-M2”; Acacia self-propelled howitzer; two mortars; 9 units of armored vehicles. In addition, during a video address, the president announced that heavy positional battles are taking place at the front. The occupiers suffer heavy losses in battles against the Armed Forces.
Trucks with looted property are being transported across the Kakhovskaya dam.
Occupants blew up power lines and equipment of a solar power plant near the city of Berislav, Kherson region.
This was reported in the “Southern” operational command.
The Russians continue their looting and destruction of civilian infrastructure in settlements where the locals were evacuated.
“Testing of the carrying capacity of the Kakhovskaya dam is carried out by transporting trucks with looted property – household appliances and construction materials, as well as the removal of artistic and historical values,” added the Operational Command.
The Russian army creates intolerable conditions for the local population, increases police terror, hunts down activists of the resistance forces, and dismantles mobile phone towers.
Russian troops blew up several bridges on the occupied territory of the Kherson region.
According to local mass media and TG channels with reference to residents, the Dariivskyi, Tyaginskyi and Novovasilivskyi bridges were blown up in the rear of the occupiers.
In addition, when leaving Snigurivka towards Kherson, bridges across the canal were also blown up.
There are no official comments on this yet.
In mid-October, the commander of the Russian troops in Ukraine Serhiy Surovikin announced the “difficult situation near Kherson” and the possible “difficult decisions”.
Russian invaders fired at the village of Novovoskresenskoe, Kherson region. This was announced on November 9 by the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko: “The village of Novovoskresenskoye, Kherson region, was destroyed by the Russians that night. They hit a residential building, because of which one person died, one person was injured.”
At the end of August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began offensive operations, including in the Kherson region. According to official data, as of October 24, the Ukrainian military liberated more than 90 settlements in the region.
On October 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the invaders were equipping defensive positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, and military personnel from among the mobilized citizens were being transferred to the village of Lvovo.
The Kherson Regional Council stated that the Russian invaders began to flee from Kherson.
On November 3, a photo of the building of the Kherson Regional State Administration, from which the Russian flag disappeared, appeared on the network. This may be a provocation by the Russians, who are actively creating the appearance of a retreat from the regional center, while they themselves are preparing for street battles, said Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the press center for the defense forces of southern Ukraine.
At the same time, the Russians are taking everything of value out of Kherson and the region, and people are forcibly forced to “evacuate.” In the words of President Volodymyr Zelenskyі, Russia is turning the Kherson region into a “zone without civilization”, a “zone of exclusion”.
They took several trucks of cultural property from the Kherson Art Museum, equipment of the State Emergency Service, archival documents, equipment and medicines from hospitals, ambulances and other city equipment.
Russian troops partially left Kherson, but units remained there that would hold the defense against the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Gumenyuk reported on November 7.
Russian invaders today shelled a residential building in the village of Novovoskresenske, Novovorontsov community, Kherson region.
Deputy Chairman of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, announced this.
A person died as a result of the shelling. Another civilian was injured. The house targeted by the Russian occupiers has been destroyed.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers fired rockets from the left-bank Kherson region all night long.
The Russian occupiers blew up three bridges in the Kherson region – Dar’ivskyi, Tyaginskyi and Novovasylkivskyi. In this way, the enemy is trying to slow down the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This complicates not only the offensive of the Armed Forces, but also the evacuation of the Russians themselves. The propagandist mass media reported on this and published a photo.
All three bridges crossed the Ingulets River on the approaches to Kherson and nearby villages. Note that the Daryiv bridge is the most important of the three. It connected Kherson and the Kherson and Beryslav districts.
The blown-up bridges are in the rear of the group of Russian troops in the captured territories. Their detonation, as well as fire control over the Antoniv bridge, complicates the evacuation of the Russians themselves to the left bank and makes communication between their groups on the right and left banks of the Ingulets River impossible.
In addition, the bridges across the canal in Snigurivka from the Kherson side were also destroyed. In the Ukrainian Telegram channels, it is noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced in Snigurivka, so the enemy blew up the bridges across the canals in order to prevent us from quickly advancing further, in particular, on the shoulders of the retreating enemy groups. In addition, other crossings were also reported destroyed and damaged:
Former adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the head of the President’s Office Viktor Andrusiv commented on the undermining of bridges in the Kherson region. According to him, there is currently no reason to believe that there will be a retreat of Russian troops. Such information is mainly distributed by Russian telegrams.
“As of now, there are about 20,000 Russian soldiers on the right bank, and these are personnel units. The sign of their retreat will not be blown up bridges, not taken down flags, but rather the commanding of a large number of crossings. Because it is not possible to quickly withdraw such an armada under these conditions, especially when crossings are under our fire control,” Andrusiv explained.
The only thing that blowing up bridges can mean is a reduction of the front line on the right bank. Currently, the occupiers have a serious problem with ammunition logistics and a large number of deserters.
“That’s why shortening the front line closer to Kherson can solve this issue. Don’t get excited so you don’t get disappointed later,” he said.
We will remind that the Russian army is accumulating a large number of watercraft near the occupied Kherson. It is likely that the enemy will use them to transfer manpower to the right bank of the Dnieper.
