The Russian occupiers do not stop shelling the Kharkiv region. During the day, Merefa of Kharkiv district, Kupyanskyi and Chuguyivskyi districts were attacked. There is a deceased.

“Last night, the enemy launched two rocket attacks on the city of Merefa, Kharkiv district,” he said.

According to him, the object of civil industry was damaged.

“Unfortunately, a 50-year-old civilian was killed,” the head of the region added.

In addition, according to Sinegubov, during the day, the enemy shelled the village of Staritsa of the Chuguyiv district and the village of Dvorichna Kupianskoho.

“In Dvorichnaya, a private residential building and the building of the emergency department came under enemy fire. 2 tankers and an emergency vehicle of firefighters were also damaged,” he added.

The Kharkiv region was shelled again last day. The enemy hit the border, as a result of which houses and farm buildings were damaged.

The enemy fired in the direction of Kupyansk and Slobozhansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, the areas of Ivanivka, Stelmakhivka, Myasozharivka, Ploshanka, Makiivka, Nevsky, and Chervonopivka were shelled by artillery.

In the direction of Slobozhansk, the areas of Staritsa and Dvorichna settlements were shelled.

Despite the so-called “ceasefire regime” declared by the Russian occupiers, during the past day, the enemy launched 9 missile strikes, 3 air strikes and carried out 40 attacks from rocket salvo systems. In particular, in civil infrastructure, there are wounded and dead among the civilian population.

 In addition, it is emphasized that the Russian military shelled the urban-type village of Dvorichna in the Kupyan district on the evening of January 7. As a result, a fire broke out on an area of ​​100 square meters. The fire spread to a private residential building. 

The building of the Department of Emergency Situations was also damaged. 

Law enforcement officers recorded the consequences of the shootings and collected material evidence. A criminal case was initiated in accordance with Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On the evening of January 7, Russian rockets hit the territory of an oil refinery in Meref, Kharkiv district.

Yevhen Vasylenko, the spokesman of the State Emergency Service, spoke about this sentence.

“It was found that serious damage was caused to the enterprise: damaged technological equipment and the building of the enterprise. A large-scale fire was avoided due to the fact that there were empty containers on the territory of the facility. According to preliminary data, one person died, another person was injured,” he said .
