The number of victims as a result of the rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia has increased to five
In Zaporizhzhia, another dead person was found under the rubble of a residential building, which was hit by a rocket the night before. Thus, the number of dead increased to five people.
This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia Region.
“As of 8:00 a.m., the bodies of five people were found under the rubble of the building. 10 are missing, 8 are injured,” the police said.

On March 3 and 4, 2022, the Russians seized the ZNPP and occupied Energodar: the war changed everything
Energodar has been occupied by the Russians for a year now, and provocations and dangerous games by Russian soldiers continue at the ZNPP.
March 3-4, 2022… These dates will forever go down in the history of Energodar as the most terrible days, when the free and peaceful city of energy workers was fired upon by an enemy column of equipment for the first time. Then, for the first time, the city came face-to-face with the frenzied aggression and destructive fury of the occupiers. These days were the beginning of the occupation of Energodar.
People remember every day of this endless and terrible year. We have no right to forget every pain and every loss that the enemy inflicts on energy donors. And we will not forget.
Before the full-scale invasion and occupation of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, Energodar was a young, cozy and prosperous city. Energy workers worked together, celebrated, developed and built their native home.
The war changed everything in an instant. Enemy tanks approached the city. Thousands of people came to the checkpoint with Ukrainian flags to repel the invaders. The enemy did not expect such active resistance: for several days, the Energordans drove the Russian tanks away from the checkpoint.
On March 3, the occupiers opened fire on the civilian population.
Approaching the ZNPP, the Russian military began shelling the station with tanks. They hit the power unit, a fire started.
This night became the most terrible for all residents of the city. Could anyone have ever imagined that in the 21st century it would be possible to seize a nuclear facility by military means? Will they start shooting at the Zaporizhzhia NPP? Until this night, it was impossible to imagine. But the world was wrong. The distorted and criminal imagination of the occupiers has no taboos and moral boundaries.
On March 4, Russian troops seized the ZNPP and occupied Energodar. After prolonged shelling, the buildings of the building of the training center and the first block were damaged.
For several weeks, the city authorities kept the situation in Energodar under control, informed the population, and provided the city with products. Residents volunteered and helped each other. Authorities and volunteers provided humanitarian aid to citizens, organized free charity lunches at schools. Humanitarian evacuation corridors were still available for some time. Women and children were taken by bus to Zaporizhzhia.
But the relative calm did not last long. Very soon, the occupiers began to intimidate energy donors, began to impose their own rules, removed the State Flags from institutions and buildings, replacing them with the tricolor.
Despite the occupation, energy suppliers continued to resist, went to rallies under Ukrainian flags. The military threw stun grenades at the participants of one of these rallies and opened fire on unarmed citizens.
The Russian Federation constantly bombarded the territory of the industrial zone and the city, the industrial sites of the ZNPP and TPP. Residential buildings, shops, infrastructure objects were hit.
The worst thing is the casualties and losses among the civilian population. The occupiers started their numerous torture chambers, prisons, and mass terror. The time of inhuman cruelty and crimes against civilians has begun.
The occupiers introduced their military “administration”. Criminals declared themselves masters in a captured peaceful city.
However, all their plans will be ruined. Despite everything, energy donors are waiting for liberation and believe in Victory. Because Energodar is Ukraine!
A woman and her children were “deported” from occupied Melitopol because of studying under the Ukrainian program
Dozens of students studying in Ukrainian schools under the family program or externship continue to live in the temporarily occupied Melitopol.
This was announced by the chairman of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
Why not online? Because it is extremely difficult to be in the occupied territory and at the same time be online. It is extremely dangerous to study online,” Fedorov emphasized.
According to him, during the searches, links and access to the system of education according to the Ukrainian program were found in the gadgets of the schoolchildren’s parents, after which the parents were taken to the commandant’s office.
“There is an example of the deportation of a woman and her children because they studied under the Ukrainian program,” he said.
In the occupied Melitopol, cars are taken from people who refused their Russian passports
The occupiers of the Zaporizhzhia region continue to provide their own comfort at the expense of local residents.
Russians in Melitopol conduct an inventory of entrepreneurs, nationalize “ownerless” enterprises.
They conduct apartment-by-apartment raids, occupy empty or “ownerless” houses and apartments. And now, under the pretext of forced passporting, they got to the cars of civilians.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from the beginning of February 2023, Russian mercenaries began to actively take cars from residents who did not receive Russian passports. In fact, under various pretexts, the Rashists are once again engaged in their traditional business – robbing everyone they can. This was announced by the chairman of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
Activists of the “Yellow Ribbon” movement put up leaflets in Melitopol and burned more than 2,000 copies of racist newspapers to remind once again: this city in the Zaporizhzhia region is an integral part of Ukraine.
People continue to resist throughout the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, not giving up their desire for freedom and justice.
This was reported by the public movement “Yellow Ribbon”, which was created in April 2022 after a full-scale Russian military invasion.
