On January 11, Russian occupation forces shelled Marganets, Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result, one person was injured, and infrastructure was also damaged.

This was announced by the head of the Nikopol district military administration Yevhen Yevtushenko.

The injured resident of the city was hospitalized. Doctors provided him with the necessary assistance. The victim’s life is not in danger.

Also, as a result of the shelling, nine residential buildings, four farm buildings, a greenhouse, eight cars and a power line were damaged.

In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian troops shelled border areas: in Vovchansk, they hit an enterprise

Last day, the Russian invaders once again shelled the border settlements of Kharkiv Oblast, shells hit an enterprise in Vovchansk.

The head of the region noted that the aggressors fired mortars and artillery at Guryiv Kozachok, Strilecha, Staritsa, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Vilcha and Novomlynsk.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy once again attacked Dvorichnaya, Kupyansk, Kislivka, Tabaivka and other settlements.

According to Synegubov, as a result of these shellings, private houses, a trade pavilion and commercial buildings were damaged.

In addition, as the head of the Regional Military Administration said, enemy shells also hit one of the enterprises in Vovchansk.

Fortunately, there were no casualties, the head of the region added.

At about 9 am, the invaders fired on the village of Dvurechnaya: a 68-year-old man was wounded.

On the same day, at about 13:30, Russian soldiers fired mortars at a residential area of ​​Kupyansk. A 76-year-old man was injured.

Settlements of the Kupyansky district are shelled by Russian invaders daily. The enemy uses not only cannon and rocket artillery, but also S-300 missiles. The district center suffers the most. According to the head of the city military administration Andrei Besedin, 30% of the buildings in Kupyansk were damaged or destroyed.

In the Kharkiv region, the Russians covered 12 settlements with artillery, tanks and mortar fire

Around 1:30 p.m., the enemy shelled one of the residential quarters of the city of Kupyansk with mortars. As a result of the shelling, a 76-year-old man was injured.

Pre-trial investigations were initiated on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On January 5, as a result of an enemy projectile hitting the lyceum of the village of Dvorichna, a large-scale fire broke out.

We will also remind that in December, the law enforcement officers detained a former policeman who, during the occupation of the city of Kupyansk, managed a division of the convoy service of the occupiers and received 70,000 Russian rubles a month for his work. A resident of Kupyansk, who worked in the ranks of the occupation administration, is also awaiting trial.

Another 145 bodies remain unidentified from the mass burial near Izyum

Another 145 bodies from the mass grave near Izyum in Kharkiv Oblast remain unidentified.

Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, announced this.

“145 bodies remain unidentified. We assume that these are local residents. There are whole families who died and may not have had relatives in Izyum, or had relatives in other places. Therefore, we take samples for research from all people who believe that their relatives have died or disappeared,” said Tymoshko.

He noted that the process of exhumation of the bodies of those who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the liberated territories of Kharkiv region is ongoing.

“Since the beginning of the large-scale counter-offensive, since September 7, 918 bodies have been recovered from the de-occupied territories, of which 721 are dead civilians, including 25 children. Thirty are bodies whose gender cannot be established due to significant damage. A total of 651 persons have been identified,” Tymoshko informed.

After the deoccupation of Izyum in September, law enforcement officers discovered a mass grave in a forest near the city. 451 bodies were removed from it: 198 civilian men, 212 civilian women, 7 children and 22 military personnel.

In particular, DNA tests confirmed that the mass grave contained the body of children’s writer Volodymyr Vakulenko, who was shot by the invaders. Also, on December 28, it became known that Oleg Yefimenko, the head of the “Plastu” raisin cell, was also buried in the forest. Experts confirmed that the man was tortured.
