“Residential buildings were damaged in the city, there were fires. Fortunately, no one was hurt,” Sinegubov wrote.

According to him, the occupiers shelled at least 10 border settlements of the Chuguyiv and Kupyan districts of the region last day. Kupyansk, Vovchansk and the village of Dvorichna were the most affected. Mostly private residential buildings were damaged there. In Vovchansk, a 47-year-old local resident was injured when a private house was hit.

Exposed to the danger of repeated shelling, the rescuers of the 44th State Fire and Rescue Service and their colleagues from the city of Novodruzhesk extinguished the fire at 07:15.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

Also this morning, 7 private households and an apartment in a two-story residential building were damaged by shelling in Kupyansk.
