The only tram line in the region was stopped due to the shelling of the power structure in Sumy Region

The Konotop transport department announced on May 22 that tram traffic in the district center will be suspended indefinitely.

The reason for this stoppage of public transport is the consequences of today’s shelling by Russian troops of energy infrastructure facilities in Konotop.

The Konotop tram administration promises to provide additional information about the resumption of tram traffic.

According to the Ministry of Energy, as a result of the attack on the power system of the Sumy region, up to 500,000 consumers were temporarily cut off.
