The Palace of Sports in Odesa was damaged due to the Russian attack

The Palace of Sports in Odesa was damaged due to the Russian attack on September 7 with strike drones.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

As the director of the Odesa Palace of Sports sports and concert complex Yevgeny Filonov said, employees were in the building during the attack.

“At 4 am, ice was being poured into the palace. Three employees were in the building and miraculously were not injured.

Three “shaheeds” fell here: one fell into the house, one near the palace, and one directly into the ice-filling backup machine, of which two remained. Everything will be restored as soon as possible,” Filonov said.

The Odesa Palace of Sports was already damaged as a result of a Russian attack in March 2024. Then the ceiling partially collapsed in the building, and more than 1,200 square meters of glazing were also destroyed.
